Singer Baby Jane Dexter Collapses Mid-concert

Cabaret star Baby Jane Dexter was hospitalised on Saturday (09Jun12) after collapsing onstage at a New York City concert.

The singer was performing at the Metropolitan Room when she blacked out, prompting venue bosses to call paramedics.

A source tells the New York Post gossip column Page Six, "She fainted and slammed to the stage in a heap."

Dexter pleaded with medics to let her finish the gig, but she was taken on a stretcher to a local hospital where she was treated for dehydration.
