Simpson Dismisses Engagement Rumours
Jessica Simpson has laughed off rumours she's engaged to American footballer beau Tony Romo after the couple was reportedly spotted shopping for rings together.
The singer, who has been dating Romo since late last year (07), was alleged to have picked out a sparkler with him during a trip to a Neiman Marcus store in Dallas, Texas recently.
But Simpson insists there is no truth to the claim - because Romo would never agree to go jewellery shopping with her.
She tells Entertainment Tonight, "Tony and I have not gone to Neiman Marcus - somebody said we bought a ring there. I couldn't drag Tony in to Neiman Marcus if I tried!"
However, the singer admits she is "beyond the moon and stars" about their romance, adding, "I'm very happy."
