Simon Cowell - Simon Cowell Tripling Jessie J's Salary For X Factor Move?

Cowell, 52, said of Jessie J, "I love that girl. She's one of the best things to come out of British music in years. I want to snap her up". He is reportedly ready to up her wages to 600,000, though instead of joining rival show Britain's Got Talent, Cowell plans to install Jessie J as a key judge in the next season of The X Factor. Though the move will be played down by Bbc bosses, the pop singer has starred on Cowell's show before as a part-time mentor with Tulisa Contostavlos. A source said, "He thinks Jessie is a huge star.He wants her and he will do anything to make sure she is his.He knows it could be a tough battle but it is one that he is determined to win". A source from the Bbc said, "She is a brilliant person to draw in a younger audience and the Bbc won't take kindly to Simon trying to nick her. She was a brilliant coup for The Voice so Simon had better keep his hands off".

Cowell has a history of poaching Bbc stars for his own shows - he left rival TV bosses fuming after stealing Alesha Dixon from Strictly Come Dancing to be a judge on Britain's Got Talent.
