Simon Cowell Still Sore About The X Factor/the Voice Tv Clash
The music and TV mogul went ballistic last week (begs03Sep12) when he discovered The Voice bosses had expended their opening week to three nightly shows - directly clashing with the launch of the second season of his show on Wednesday (12Sep12).
Asked if he had calmed down over the weekend (08-09Sep12) as he promoted the new season of The X Factor with Spears in Los Angeles, it was clear he was still upset.
He told news show Access Hollywood, "None of us are happy about it. It is, literally, what's known as spoiling the party. I hope that this backfires on them because I think it's unfair to Britney and Demi."
But Spears seemed unfazed by the competition between her and old pal Christina Aguilera, who is a judge on The Voice.
She said, "It's really interesting... but in all honesty I do feel like they're two really different shows."
The Voice begins on Monday night (10Sep12) and Aguilera's sidekick Cee Lo Green has waded into the drama about the TV competitions, insisting it's good for television.
The Forget You singer, who is also a judge on The Voice, says, "Competition is good."
