Arnold Schwarzenegger - Shriver Sparks New Traffic Controversy

ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER's wife MARIA SHRIVER has left her politician partner red-faced yet again - after committing a third and fourth motor vehicle violation in less than two months.

Shriver felt the wrath of her husband, the Governor of California, in October (09), when photos of her chatting on her cell phone behind the wheel appeared online.

Schwarzenegger promised "swift action" against his apologetic wife - who was caught weeks later parking in a restricted zone, while visiting a doctor's office.

Now Shriver has been warned yet again, after breaking the rules of the road - by parking next to an expired meter during an outing in Santa Monica on Wednesday (25Nov09).

According to TMZ.com, a member of the California Highway Patrol Dignitary Protection Unit persuaded an officer attempting to ticket Shriver to let her off the hook. Minutes later, she drove off without wearing her seat belt, unseen by the parking official.

Spokespersons for Shriver and Schwarzenegger have declined to comment.
