Shrek Eyes Broadway Role

Movie monster SHREK is heading for Broadway - in a musical version of the hit film franchise.
Shrek: The Musical has opened in Seattle, Washington and has proved so popular that producers are looking to take it to New York.
The stage show sees Ghost Town actor Brian d'Arcy James take on the part of the green-skinned ogre - who was voiced by Mike Myers in the Dreamworks movie trilogy.
A source tells British newspaper the Daily Star, "If it's anything like as successful as the films, the musical will be a huge money-spinner."
