Shooter Jennings - Shooter Jennings Takes Aim At Mayer In Puzzling Twitter Post

Jennings has dubbed the Daughters hitmaker "King Douche" in a surprising, unprovoked online attack, which recalls Mayer's recent Rolling Stone magazine article, in which he opened up about setting up home in rural Montana.

The son of grizzled country legend Waylon Jennings tweeted: "I love how the 'neil young of our generation' self-naming king douche grows his hair out + buys a place in Montana just to do an article.

"(He) claims he's 'done w hollywood game' and has 'roots' and then immediately cuts hair, goes back to hollywood clubs + starts banging Katy Perry.

"And don't anybody say he's a great guitar player. Gary Clark Jr & Lukas Nelson wipes (sic) their a**es with this dude."

It's not clear what provoked the Twitter attack. Mayer has yet to respond.
