Shia Labeouf - Shia Labeouf Involved In 'Lawless' Scuffle With Tom Hardy
Shia Labeouf and Tom Hardy star as brothers in the new, Prohibition-era movie, Lawless, and when on set on the new film were involved in a fight with each other, but don't worry though, as Shia has insisted that the scuffle was only a show of 'brotherly love.'
No hard feelings, nor moonshine, were at the bottom of the scuffle, as Shia has told Mtv News that the fight arose more from "straight love" and "a lot of aggression in me and a lot of aggression on [Hardy's] side," arising from brotherly antagonism between shoots. LaBeouf, Hardy and Jason Clarke all star in the upcoming movie as a trio of bootlegging brother who shift load after load of moonshine in the American South during the Prohibition. Although the brothers are played by an American, and Englishman and an Australian, Shia insists that after filming their was genuine brotherly love felt between the three and a feeling of family, with LaBeouf insisting that, in regards to Hardy, "I love the dude like a brother."
The film, directed by John Hillcoat, also stars Gary Oldman, Guy Pearce, Jessica Chastain and Mia Wasikowska and was adapted for the screen by singer Nick Cave, who had previously worked with Hillcoat for the 2005 film The Proposition.
