Bafta - Sherlock Sweeps The Board At The Welsh Baftas

British show Sherlock has followed up its success at the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (Bafta) TV Awards earlier this month (May11) by sweeping the board at the Welsh version of the prizegiving.
The series, a modern take on the Sherlock Holmes books, won two major honours at the event on 22 May (11), picking up trophies for Best Drama Series and Best Supporting Actor for Martin Freeman, who plays Sherlock's sidekick Dr. Watson.
And the run of good luck continued at Sunday's (29May11) Bafta Cymru awards, the Welsh version of the Baftas, when the show picked up five awards - Best Television Drama, Best Director (fiction), Production Design, Hair and Make-up, and Photography (fiction).
Brothers and Sisters star Matthew Rhys was honoured with The Sian Phillips Award, while Only Fools and Horses producer Gareth Gwenlan was presented with a lifetime achievement award for his contribution to the British and Welsh television industry.
The ceremony took place at the Wales Millennium Centre in Cardiff.
