Charlie Sheen has fired off an angry missive to TWO AND A HALF MEN writer CHUCK LORRE after the hit sitcom was shut down for the rest of the season.
Producers announced there will be no more Two and a Half Men this season after Sheen's vicious rant about creator Lorre on Thursday (24Feb11).
In a U.S. radio interview, he attacked the writer for his lack of "gratitude" and branded him "a stupid, stupid little man and a pu**y punk".
His comments were sparked by bosses' decision to suspend production at the end of January (11) to allow Sheen to attend rehab for substance abuse issues.
Filming briefly resumed earlier this month (Feb11) but was halted again - and Sheen has unleashed his fury at his boss once more.
In an open letter released to TMZ.com, Sheen writes, "What does this say about (Lorre) after he tried to use his words to judge and attempt to degrade me. I gracefully ignored this folly for 177 shows... I fire back once and this contaminated little maggot can't handle my power and can't handle the truth.
"I wish him nothing but pain in his silly travels especially if they wind up in my octagon. Clearly I have defeated this earthworm with my words - imagine what I would have done with my fire breathing fists."
And the actor is convinced his loyal devotees will side with him against Lorre, adding: "I urge all my beautiful and loyal fans who embraced this show for almost a decade to walk with me side-by-side as we march up the steps of justice to right this unconscionable wrong. Remember these are my people... not yours... We will continue on together... Charlie Sheen."
