Sheen Joins Campaign To Save Welsh Factory
LATEST: Actor MICHAEL SHEEN has become the latest star to plead with Burberry over the fashion house's decision to move its Welsh factory to China.
THE QUEEN star has joined the campaign to stop the closure of Burberry's Treorchy, South Wales factory, which currently employs over 300 people.
He says, "At a point where Burberry are making good profits, closing the factory is just wrong."
Singer SIR TOM JONES, actors EMMA THOMPSON, IOAN GRUFFUDD and RHYS IFANS, and British royals QUEEN ELIZABETH II and PRINCE CHARLES have also backed the Welsh workers.
