Veteran pop star SANDIE SHAW marked her 60th birthday by treating her feet to a cosmetic overhaul.
The singer became famous for her barefoot onstage performances in the 1960s, but admits she has "never liked" her feet and decided to go under the knife in 2007 for a painful operation to remove her unsightly bunions.
Shaw, 63, also had her toes shortened and straightened and she's convinced the operation gave her a new lease of life.
She tells Britain's Daybreak TV show, "I like my face but I've never liked my feet. I did it when I was 60 - I gave it to myself as a present. I had my bunions taken away, I had one toe shortened, one toe straightened. It was a full foot lift - they are divine (now)...
"I couldn't wear really nice shoes (before the surgery but my feet have) become interesting again."
The 1969 session, including the only known recording of 'Sunshine Woman' by the band, will be included on a re-issue of 'The Complete BBC Sessions'...
