Sharon Stone Sued By Nanny For Insulting Accent
The suit also claims Stone would not allow Elemen to read the Bible in the home, before firing her after discovering she had been paid overtime. The former nanny's attorney Solomon Gresen told the Los Angeles Times that after five years of employment she had "wonderful memories of the children", though was eventually unable to cope with the "increasingly hostile and abusive behavior". In response, Stone's publicist Paul Bloch said the nanny is a disgruntled former employee who has sought disability and worker's compensation payments in the past, adding, "Now, she is obviously looking for another opportunity to cash in.This is a frivolous lawsuit for absurd claims that are made-up and fabricated. Sharon Stone will be completely vindicated in court".
Ms Elemen is seeking unspecified damages for harassment, as well as for wrongful termination of her contract.
