Sharon Stone Sued By Former Nanny Over Insults
Ms. Elemen was employed by Sharon Stone by more than four years and during that time, was promoted to head nanny. According to the report, Elemen was paid overtime payments by Sharon's accountants, for working during holidays. When Stone discovered this, she openly disagreed that the overtime payments should have ben made. She later sacked Ms Elemen. Amidst the various claims made against Stone, is the allegation that her head nanny was forbidden from reading the Bible in the Stone household. The amount of compensation sought by her former charge has not yet been specified.
Sharon Stone's attorney appears confident that the case will be over-turned and has indicated that this is not the first time that Erlinda has sought financial compensation from Sharon Stone since her employment was terminated. Paul Bloch revealed that she has already sought disability and worker's compensation payments since she was fired. "Now, she is obviously looking for another opportunity to cash in," said Mr. Bloch. "This is a frivolous lawsuit for absurd claims that are made-up and fabricated. Sharon Stone will be completely vindicated in court."
