Sharon Osbourne Tweets Fond Farewell As She Exits Talent Show
Sharon Osbourne has bid a fond farewell to reality TV show America's Got Talent after confirming she won't be back to judge another season.
The TV regular, who is married to rocker Ozzy Osbourne, announced her decision to quit the series earlier this year (12) over a disagreement with TV bosses at NBC, and she hasn't changed her mind as she prepares to say goodbye.
In a series of tweets posted just before taking to the stage for her final appearance on the show's finale on Thursday (13Sep12), she wrote, "@nbcagt is the best variety show in the world. It's been 6 great years, but time to move on... Thank you to the @nbcagt crew, producers, and artists. It was a great honor."
