Sharon-dannii 'Row' Before Exit

by | 23 October 2007

X-Factor judges Sharon Osbourne and Dannii Minogue reportedly clashed before the older talent spotter walked out of Saturday's results show.

The Daily Mirror reports that the two stars had a row an hour before the show went on air, which apparently left Kylie's younger sister in tears. It also claims that Osbourne will return to the show this weekend after walking out of the show saying: "That's it. I'm not doing this any more. I'm out. I'm gone."

The paper cites two different unnamed sources as saying that a clash took place. A friend of Osbourne said a "clear the air" meeting had taken place between the two stars, adding that the mother of Kelly and Jack Osbourne had entered Minogue's dressing room with expensive birthday gifts for the Who Do You Love Now? star.

Another source speaks of Osbourne earlier visiting her fellow panelist's changing area to confront the star. The insider told the paper: "Sharon was in her dressing gown and stormed into Dannii's dressing room, accusing her of saying things about her. Dannii denied it and the row just escalated. Dannii was in tears."

A spokeswoman for the show said she was unaware of any backstage conflicts between judges.

On the previous episode of the talent competition show Osbourne was asked to choose between sending either Kimberley or Alisha home, after her two acts bagged the least votes.

The final decision to decide between Kimberly - who had performed It's Raining Men - and Alisha - who sang Gabrielle's Dreams - was left to remaining judges Minogue, Simon Cowell and Louis Walsh.

Minogue, who eventually voted for Alisha, struggled to decide at first, saying: "Can I sit this one out too? I can't choose."

But Cowell and Walsh both plumped for Kimberley, sending the 19-year-old barmaid home.
