Shain Gandee will be remembered in a special 'Buckwild' tribute.
MTV have decided to put on a special edition of the show to pay respect to reality star Shain Gandee after his life came to a tragic end just over a week ago (01.04.13) following carbon monoxide poisoning.
The controversial programme - dubbed the '' 'Jersey Shore' of Appalachia'' - follows a group of youngsters from rural West Virginia and filming was suspended halfway through because the 21-year-old star was reported missing.
After much consideration MTV have decided to conclude the show midway through its second season because of Shain's tragic death.
MTV News said in a statement: ''MTV will not be moving forward with season two of 'Buckwild' in West Virginia.
''We love the cast and the show and this was not an easy decision, but given Shain's tragic passing and essential presence on the show, we felt it was not appropriate to continue without him.''
Shain Gandee's tribute will air on Sunday (08.04.13) at 8PM ET/PT on MTV.
The live album is set for released in November.
The movie begins filming in the UK.
