Sexiest Woman Alive: Mila Kunis Talks Politics

After being named Sexiest Woman Alive, Mila Kunis’ interview with Esquire - the mag that handed her the title - shows a few different sides of her personality, all of which undoubtedly led to her being #1 in the magazine’s sexy list, beating out last year’s winner, Rihanna.

"What I do and who I am are two different things. And they always will be," she said in her interview. "What happens with people is they lose sight of who they are, and they become either who they want to be or who they are perceived to be." Philosophical stuff. Kunis, 29, is known for her role on That '70s Show and films like Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Black Swan, Friends with Benefits and Ted. She also shows her comic prowess by providing the voice of Meg on Family Guy. "I think that if I bought into the hype, I would lose all sight of who I am, and so much of who I am is what my parents went through and instilled in me. And I never want to lose that. Ever. Because I would be so disappointed if I didn't make them proud," she added.

Mila is also one of the more politically attuned celebrities, although in her interview she rejects the label of celeb, preferring instead: “working actress”. Either way, she doesn’t ignore contemporary politics: “The way that Republicans attack women is so offensive to me,” she explains. “And the way they talk about religion is offensive. I may not be a practicing Jew, but why we gotta talk about Jesus all the time? And it's baffling to me how a poor person in Georgia can say, "I'm a Republican." Why?”
