Picture: Robert Pattinson visits the New York Stock Exchange to ring the opening bell USA - 14.08.12
In an interview with the Kyle and Jackie O show in Sydney, Australia, Robert Pattinson spoke candidly about filming the sex scenes with Kristen as well as his favourite coffee, while all the time subtly mocking the franchise and himself, in a typically British tradition of self-deprecation, reported by E! Online.
Kyle and Jackie O were asking questions posed by the audience including "What's your Starbucks order?" to which Pattinson was immediately embarrassed by what he deemed an effeminate choice of a 'Misto', recommending it to Kyle because it "tastes like a latte, but it's not actually a latte, it's got less calories". Most interesting though, was the reply to "What was the hardest scene to film out of all the Twilight movies?" to which he said "The sex scene in this one is pretty ridiculous. It's just because you're kind of shooting stuff to be PG-13, and so it's just trying to think of inventive ways to try to make something sexy." He said, "It also can't just be a normal sex scene," he added. "It's supposed to be about, like, the greatest vampire sex you've ever had. So a lot of it was just closeups on me and Kristen's faces, but there was no one else there... You literally try and give a face of ecstasy...Guys' faces I don't think are really designed to do that."
Discussing these sex scenes will undoubtedly tantalize fans of both Kristen and Stewart who are no doubt praying for them to break up again, after Kristen cheated on Stewart with a married man, director Rupert Sanders. The couple got back together after, but have since been separated for the promotional tour, in lieu of the upcoming final instalment of the Twilight Saga, which comes out November 16th.
