Sean Bean To Star In Movie Adaptation Of Devil's Peak Trilogy
Game Of Thrones star Sean Bean is helping to bring the popular Devil's Peak book trilogy to life on the big screen after landing the lead role in a series of planned movie adaptations.
The British actor will portray Detective Benny Griessel in the three forthcoming projects, based on South African author Deon Meyer's crime and suspense books, about a veteran cop who struggles to balance his family life with his career as he tries to track down a killer.
Production on the first installment will begin in Cape Town, South Africa in September (12).
Bean has also signed up to continue the story in sequels 13 Hours and 7 Days.
