Screenwriter Rula Jebreal is heading down the aisle after becoming engaged to her boyfriend.
The journalist, whose debut book Miral was adapted into a film starring Freida Pinto, has confirmed she is to marry investment entrepreneur Arthur Altschul, Jr. after he proposed last month (Apr13).
Altschul tells the New York Post's gossip column Page Six, "We are engaged. We're very much in love, and look forward to being married."
Jebreal dated filmmaker Julian Schnabel, who directed Miral, for five years, but they split in 2011 and he is now expecting a child with his fiancee, former Victoria's Secret model May Andersen.
