Scouting For Girls' Charity Ride Raises $30,000

The She's So Lovely hitmakers cycled from London to Brighton, on Britain's south coast, on Sunday (29Aug10) to raise cash for the Wellchild organisation.

Prior to the ride, bandmember Roy Stride said, "We don't quite know what we're letting ourselves in for with this one, but we're all pretty excited by it. Please sponsor us! It's going to be the toughest thing we've ever done!"

And his appeal for sponsorship paid off - they've so far raised $30,000 for the sick children's charity.
