Scottish Rock Festival Cancelled

Organisers have been forced to cancel the Let's Rock! Edinburgh rock festival in Scotland after funding for the event was withdrawn by an investor. BABYSHAMBLES and THE FUTUREHEADS were booked to headline the indoor musical spectacular at the Royal Highland Centre in the Scottish capital on 30 September (06). A statement from organisers reads: "We are very disappointed and saddened to announce the cancellation today of Let's Rock! Edinburgh. "This event was being funded with the aid of a private investor who is now not able to produce the necessary funding required to see the event continue. "This unfortunately leaves us with no choice but the cancel the event with immediate effect. "All tickets will be refunded if you return to your point of purchase. If you purchased online or via telephone, please contact the ticket agent who will issue you with a full refund."
