Scott To Bring Crowe Back To Life For Gladiator Sequel

Director RIDLEY SCOTT has confirmed he plans to make a GLADIATOR sequel with RUSSELL CROWE, despite Crowe's character having been killed off. Scott intends to write around the problem of Crowe dying at the finale of his 2000 smash hit. He had originally tried to get a follow-up made in 2003, before abandoning the idea, but things are now back on track. Scott says, "I will probably do a sequel to Gladiator. The only problem is Russell Crowe was such a powerful presence and, of course, MAXIMUS dies at the end. "We'll have to get Russell back somehow."

Finally GOOD news ....specially for the women!!!! This is what I have been dreaming of after seeing the wonderfull and only everlasting sexy, poetic, with beautifull scenes, the movie 'Gladiator'. And still, after seeing it 50 times, I can still enjoy it, so yes, give us more of this fantastic actor Crowe, the crew behind the scene, the writers and Scott. And important, it dont have to be a 'bulldozer' movie now, please no, keep the fine touch, with Crowes beautyfull faces, and his magnetism.....AND dont forget the music, this was just a perfect movie in all areas! I love maximus because he was not the regular macho fighting guy. I got the feeling it could have happened, the life he had in Gladiator, and thats what movies are for. Give us the dreams....with the right man. There is only one true Gladiator and I hope not the style of Maximus is changed. I cant wait to see another 3 hours movie again...GET ON WITH IT NOW !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If anybody can pull this off, it's the team of Ridley Scott, and Russell Crowe! I'm a HUGE Russell Crowe fan, and can't wait for the sequel! I'm sure that it will be done in good taste, and with dignity!
