Scott Storch - Scott Storch Pays Up In Child Support Dispute
29 October 2012Embattled hip-hop producer Scott Storch has avoided arrest by paying off a chunk of his child support debt.
A warrant was issued for Storch's arrest earlier this month (Oct12) after he missed a hearing in Florida over claims he had fallen behind on court-ordered payments to his former lover, Vanessa Bellido, amounting to $28,300 (£17,688).
However, the hitmaker - who filed for bankruptcy in 2009 after famously blowing his multi-million dollar fortune on girls, drugs and fast cars - managed to work out a deal with prosecutors and handed over a cheque for $20,000 (£12,500) this week (ends28Oct12) to lift the arrest warrant.
He was given six months to settle the remainder of the debt, reports Tmz.com.
