Scorpions - Scorpions Cancel Paraguay Show

German rockers Scorpions were forced to axe a concert in Paraguay on Tuesday night (18Sep18) after the outdoor venue was hit by a massive storm.

The Rock You Like a Hurricane hitmakers' gig at the Jockey Club in Asuncion, Paraguay was called off shortly after support act Steinkrug took to the stage amid crashing thunder and rain.

Organisers decided it was unsafe to continue with the event and fans were urged to leave the venue to seek shelter.

An official told the crowd, "For obvious reasons, the concert is suspended, however we ask people to retain their tickets, before a possible rescheduling," according to Ultimahora.com.

The rockers hope to reschedule the gig for October (12).
