Scientologists Call On Bart Simpson For Help
The voice of BART SIMPSON has been used to promote Scientology in New York. Nancy Cartwright, who provides Bart’s voice on The Simpsons, agreed to help boost attendance at a Scientology event on Saturday (31Jan09) by recording a phone message that was sent around to select New Yorkers last week (ends30Jan09).
Cartwright is a longtime Scientology follower. Publicists for the Fox network, which broadcasts The Simpsons in the U.S., refused to comment on the actress' use of her famous voice for the phone marketing project.
