Schwarzenegger Gives Up Hummers

Arnold Schwarzenegger has ditched his beloved $950,000 (GBP500,000) fleet of Hummer cars in a bid to save the environment.
The Terminator movie star-turned-California governor is devoted to the sport utility vehicles for their "precision". He was the first person to own one of cars in 1992 after persuading manufacturers to make them for non-army purposes.
But Hummers emit three times more carbon dioxide than a regular car - and after the State of California announced it was suing carmakers Toyota, Nissan, Ford, Honda, Chrysler and General Motors over greenhouse gas emissions, ex movie star Schwarzenegger felt it was prudent to make the change.
Eco-aware campaigner Al Gore confirms, "Arnie has given up his Hummers."

I think his wife had something to do with it. Mine made me give up Hummers a long time ago.

Those who typically complain what others do seem to have quite a narrow life. It won't matter what he chooses to do because there will always be others complaining on either side. My surprise as to him has been his promise to not make any movies and focus on the state of california. Say what you wish but to turn your back on EASY millions to attempt to turn a state around takes credit. Doesn't matter if your a Demo/Rep to respect that. But then again people with a cause don't respect anything but their cause of the moment.

There is no win for the Gov... people will have to say something. He, Arnold, has made up his mind and acted on it in a positive way. You critics have nothing to say so why don't you just go away...

It's a shame Arnie didn't have the foresight back in 1992 before begging the automakers to fulfill his whim. Thanks to him, these fuel guzzlers are all over roads down here in southern california. He should be sued by his own state too - accountability, accountability, accountability - when will he be held to it?

According to sources close to the Terminator, they will now be piloting an eco-friendly fleet of Prius...haha. That would be kind of odd, being that he's supposedly suing Toyota, eh? The dude can't make up his friggin mind.
