Charlie Sheen - School Heads Defend Themselves Over Charlie Sheen's Angry Call To Arms
Charlie Sheen's angry call to arms over alleged bullying issues at his daughter's former school in California has prompted education bosses to assure parents that all is well on campus.
The Platoon star launched into a lengthy rant on his Twitter.com page on Wednesday (13Mar13), claiming his nine-year-old girl Sam had been "bullied out of" the school - and officials did nothing to stop it.
In the series of tweets, he also added, "If you have a rotted (sic) egg, a roll of toilet paper or some dog s**t; I urge u (sic) to deliver it with 'extreme prejudice' to their KamPuss (sic) run by trolls and charlatans. make me proud. we will not tolerate this level of abhorrent disrespect..."
Now heads of the private Viewpoint school have responded to the angry outburst, insisting Sheen's complaint is a year old, and it was dealt with at the time.
They have also addressed the concerns of current parents who are worried about protests from other disgruntled parents and Sheen's fans.
A statement reads: "The parent of a former Viewpoint School student who has not attended Viewpoint School since March, 2012 has made certain accusations in the media... Our administrators addressed the issue appropriately (last year).
"Our School takes accusations of bullying very seriously. For over 50 years, Viewpoint School has provided a safe and nurturing environment for our students to thrive, and we will continue to do so."
