Scherzinger Wants Out Of Controversial Comedy

PUSSYCAT DOLLS star NICOLE SCHERZINGER has demanded an interview she conducted to be removed from a controversial comedy programme.

Australian funnyman John Safran chatted with the pop singer for his series Race Relations, but the skit was edited to depict him running into a dressing room to steal her underwear as part of a scientific "experiment".

Scherzinger failed to find the footage funny, and allegedly sought a last-minute injunction to keep the programme from airing earlier this month (Oct09), according to the Herald Sun.

But a spokesperson for Australian TV network ABC insists the pop star simply requested her removal from Safran's show after watching an initial cut.

The rep says, "Following completion of the program Nicole's agent requested her removal from the program.

"Nicole is not portrayed in a negative light. The story and humour is very much about John Safran, and the joke is on him and his mischievous scientific experiment."
