Scarlett Johansson - Scarlett Johansson On Walk Of Fame Star: I'm Here To Stay
Scarlett Johansson says she is thrilled after receiving a star on Hollywood's Walk of Fame. The Lost in Translation actress - who currently stars as the Black Widow in the all-conquering Avengers movie - joked that she had finally "made it to the big time".
The actress attended the ceremony in Los Angeles with her mother Melanie Sloan, sister Fenan and her grandmother. She said of the honor, "When I was told I was getting this star, I thought to myself, man, I really made it to the big time", before adding, "You know, no matter what happens from here on out, I made my mark, I'm here to stay, and my family for generations to come will always be able to visit me right here, always. What a deeply, deeply touching gift". In keeping with the ceremony, Johansson wore a classic looking black and white dress with a 40's style hair hairstyle - a nod to the Golden era of cinema. She was also joined by her Avengers co-star Jeremy Renner, who made a touching speech about the actress.
Scarlett is currently shooting the forthcoming Alfred Hitchcock biopic 'Hitchcock', in which she plays Janet Leigh - star of the filmmaker's most popular work 'Psycho'.
