Saxon Postpone Moscow Show Over Visa Issue
British rockers SAXON have postponed an upcoming sold out show in Moscow after failing to secure the right visas in time. The group's manager Thomas Jensen claims Britain's ongoing postal strike brought their plans of playing the Russian capital to a halt. In a statement, he says, "The promoter in Russia and our tour manager tried their best, but the post strike and delays at the Japanese embassy worked against us." But Saxon are so desperate to honour a long-standing commitment they made to their army of Russian fans, they've scrapped an upcoming Australian tour so they can reschedule the show at the end of November (07). Jensen tells Blabbermouth.net, "We will also postpone our first Australian appearance to April 2008. This was too optimistic."
