Sarah Palin - Sarah Palin Talks Up Todd On 'Stars Earn Stripes'
Sarah Palin has talked up her husband Todd's forthcoming appearance on the television show 'Stars Earn Stripes'. The show pits Palin against seven other celebrities in a contest inspired by actual military exercises.
During an interview with the Philadelphia Daily News, Sarah defended Todd against claims that he's looked uncomfortable while starring on the likes of 'Sarah Palin's Alaska' and his daughter's Lifetime series, 'Bristol Palin: Life's a Tripp. Palin explained, "He's very humble and calm, cool and collected, but jumped at this chance to participate in such a worthy cause". Todd will go head-to-head with the likes of former Superman star Dean Cain and actor Terry Crews. The prize money goes to the military, veterans or first responder charities and Palin hinted that Todd was drawn to the show for the charity element, saying, "He's very pro-United States military in honor of our son (Track, who served in Iraq) and all the other troops who are sacrificing so much. Todd wanted to participate to help raise money for the troops", though added, "The physicality, yes, the competition did appeal to Todd.He does this kind of hard-core physical work in his vocations and his avocations anyway as a commercial fisherman, as a pilot, as a snowmachine racer, well, just living Alaska".
The former Vice-Presidential running mate said her husband has had opportunities "to do a lot of things" in other shows, though has always said no.
