Sarah Palin - Sarah Palin Hunting Clip Condemed By West Wing Creator Sorkin
A recent episode of SARAH PALIN's reality show 'Sarah Palin's Alaska' has been condemned by AARON SORKIN for being "a snuff film" after the potential presidential candidate was filmed shooting a caribou, reports The Huffington Post. The creator of political drama series 'The West Wing', accused Palin of shooting the animal for "political gain".
Sorkin, who also wrote the recent Facebook movie 'The Social Network', described the former Governor of Alaska as "deranged", a "witless bully", and a "phony pioneer girl". Palin joined her father on a hunt in the latest episode of the reality show, but 49-year-old Sorkin said the episode should never have been broadcast, saying that cable network 'The Learning Channel' "should be ashamed of itself" for airing a "truly awful reality show". The award winning screenwriter was responding to Palin's recent response to her critics in which she said, "Unless you've never worn leather shoes, sat upon a leather chair or eaten meat, save your condemnation".
Sorkin reacted to the comments by saying, "I eat meat, chicken and fish, have shoes and furniture made of leather ... I'm able to make a distinction between you and me without feeling the least bit hypocritical" , before adding, "You weren't killing that animal for food or shelter or even fashion, you were killing it for fun. You enjoy killing animals".
