Sarah Michelle Gellar - Sarah Michelle Gellar: Pregnant With Second Child

Sarah Michelle Gellar is pregnant with her second child, People magazine have reported today (April 26, 2012). The former Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress already has a daughter, two year old Charlotte Grace, who was born in September 2009. Sarah and her partner, Freddie Prinze Jr. married in 2002 and have previously explained that they were glad that they waited those seven years before having children.

A source close to the couple said that Sarah and Freddie are "thrilled" at the prospect of their new arrival. After she had given birth to Charlotte, Sarah said "you need to be at a point in your life where you can give up anything and everything for a child," explaining why they had chosen to wait for the right moment before starting a family. "Every day I look at her and I am in awe." At the time, she admitted that as soon as she had had Charlotte, everyone was asking her when she planned to have another one and now she has the answer to all of those questions.

"They love their little girl more than anything in the world and know that love will only multiply. She is such a fantastic mom; it is just great news," said the source. Gellar has been appearing the US crime drama Ringer; it's unclear how the baby will affect any future filming schedules for the 35 year old. Freddie, meanwhile, is rumoured to be appearing in a forthcoming, as-yet-untitled movie with Mena Suvari and SARAH WRIGHT.
