Sarah Jessica Parker paid tribute to the late Alexander McQueen at the UK premiere of 'Sex and the City 2' last night (27.05.10).
The actress - who plays fashion-conscious Carrie Bradshaw in the big-screen version of the TV series - donned a black armband and wore a stunning strapless dress, which she teamed with shoes and a clutch bag, which were all from the tragic designer's collection.
She said of her choice: "There's only person I could have worn tonight and that was Alexander McQueen."
She also wore a Philip Treacy 'Cloud' hat, which was covered with Swarovski crystals.
McQueen committed suicide in February and the 45-year-old star has since spoken about her admiration for him.
Of his creations, she said: "Every single inspired, original, lofty, whimsical, stunning, brilliant and jaw dropping detail was Alexander McQueen."
Parker was joined on the red carpet by her co-stars Kim Cattrall, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon, who all impressed with their fashion choices.
Kim, 53, looked the epitome of old school Hollywood glamour in a vintage Thierry Mugler strapless black gown, while 45-year-old Kristin opted for a stunning Norman Novello gold empire line gown.
Cynthia, 44, wore a turquoise Narciso Rodriguez dress and had extensions put into her normally short hair.
