Sara Gilbert Set To Co-host New Cbs Daytime Show
SARA GILBERT, best known for her role as Darlene from the smash hit comedy 'Rosanne', is set to co-host a new, yet to be named, daytime chat show as CBS look to replace the long running soap 'As the World Turns' which ends in September. The new daytime chat show's line up will also include AMERICA'S GOT TALENT judge SHARON OSBOURNE, BIG BROTHER's JULIE CHEN and King of Queens star LEAH REMINI.
Thirty five year old SARA GILBERT has been busy in the past few years have a high profile part on the popular medical drama "E.R." and more recently back to comedy on 'THE BIG BANG THEORY' where she plays the eccentric character Leslie Winkle.
CBS say that the new daytime show will take a mothers view of the entertainment world. All of the hosts have children and a few have celebrity partners. Gilbert is a lesbian mom and raises two children with her partner the producer/writer ALLISON ADLER.
