Sandra Bullock credits her friends for keeping her adoption a secret.
The 'Blind Side' actress - who took on the care of Louis Bardo, now seven months, in January as a single parent - admits she was able to keep the "long" process a secret because her pals value the bond she has with them.
She explained: "You know, human beings exist that have integrity that know how to keep their mouth shut. That know the bigger picture, that don't sell out their friends. They know if they screw up they're not coming on the next vacation, I'm not going to babysit their kids. I will cut them, I will take them down."
The Oscar-winning actress - who initially began the adoption process with ex-husband Jesse James -always thought she was destined to be a mother to Louis.
She added to the 'Today' show: "Louis was always mine, you know. It wasn't like I felt like someone was going to take him away. But it was nice to have someone say, 'I think you're a fit parent'.
