The San Francisco Symphony was forced to scrap another two concerts this weekend (16-17Mar13) as leading musicians continue their strike.
Members of the top city orchestra walked out last week (begs11Mar13) after talks between the symphony's management and the musicians' union failed to reach a mutually agreed labour pact.
Two shows were cancelled during the week, while another two on Saturday night (16Mar13) and Sunday (17Mar13) were also scrapped.
The strike is now threatening to derail the symphony's East Coast tour of New York and Washington, D.C., which begins on Wednesday (20Mar13).
