Samuel L Jackson Does a Capital FM Listener a Favour by Covering a Taylor Swift Song

Samuel L Jackson has lent his voice to a variety of interesting contexts, and until this point his audiobook version of Adam Mansbach's 'Go the F--- to Sleep' was easily the best. Now, however, at the request of a Capital FM listener, he has done a spoken word cover version of Taylor Swift's song 'We Are Never Getting Back Together'.

As the Wall Street Journal says, the listener wanted to send a clear message to her ex boyfriend. Naturally, the Pulp Fiction actor ad-libbed a little, including a few expletives in the same vain as Mansbach's original. Taylor Swift, obviously, approves of his version, and tweeted her support, saying "Samuel L Jackson. YES."

Jackson was at the radio station to promote his latest movie with Quentin Tarantino, Django Unchained. Like the rest of Tarantino's films it has come under heavy criticism for one reason or another, but Jackson is ever happy to defend his pal and colleague. Most recently, he has spoken about his view of the use of the 'N' word in the movie, "Did they have another name to call the (black) people they were talking about at the time?" Inquisitr reports him sayig. "If you're going to deal with the language of the time, you deal with the language of the time. And that was the language of the time. I grew up in the South. I heard 'n-ger' all my life. I'm not disturbed by it."
