Sammy Hagar Lands Own Day In California
Sammy Hagar will be the guest of honour in Roseville, California on 15 September (12) after officials dedicated the day to the rocker.
The date marks the opening of his restaurant and entertainment venue, Sammy's Rockin' Island Bar & Grill, in Downtown Roseville, and chiefs in the city are making the day all about Hagar.
Brian Jacobson, who works for the City of Roseville, tells Patch.com, "Downtown is a big priority for the City and this is a big event."
City leaders plan to make a presentation and give a gift to Hagar during the celebrations, and the rocker will perform live at the restaurant.
