Sam Worthington's Hair Steals Spotlight In Wrath Of The Titans
"I got more criticism about my hair than Jennifer Aniston did when she started 'Friends," Worthington told MTV News in an interview, along with his co-star Liam Neeson. The Avatar star doesn't let online gossip get to him, though, he explained, saying "My brain goes, 'If that's the only thing you're going to be focusing on, maybe you should get out more.'" Liam Neeson quipped "His hair was good." Wrath of the Titans is set 10 years after its predecessor, so of course it is entirely feasible that Perseus' hair would have grown to such an extent, a fact that caused Worthington to speculate how long he'd have to grow his hair, were the franchise to continue. "If we did another one, I'd just go longer. I'll just keep going. By the time you get to 'Wrath of the Titans 10,' I'll look like Cousin Itt," said Worthington, to which Neeson added "And each hair is a demigod. Think about that."
The film, directed by Jonathan Liebesman, also stars Ralph Fiennes, Bill Nighy and Rosamund Pike. Todd MCCarthy of Hollywood Reporter didn't look kindly on the film, arguing that it "will not or cannot take the imaginative leaps to yield even fleeting moments of awe, wonder or charm."
