Sam & The Womp Bump Rita Ora From Top Of U.k. Singles Chart
The London-based band's track stole the coveted number one spot, but Ora, who fell to second, had no hard feelings, writing in a post on Twitter.com, "Its ok being No2 and giving it too the bom bom people (sic).. Lol (Laugh Out Loud)".
Dropping to third was Wiley's collaboration with Ms. D, Heatwave, in fourth was Emeli Sande's Read All About It Part 3, and entering at five was Taylor Swift's new track We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.
Meanwhile, in the U.K. albums chart, Sande held onto the number one slot thanks to Our Version of Events, and Paloma Faith's Fall to Grace remained unchanged at two.
Bloc Party's Four debuted at three, Hot Cakes by Darkness premiered in fourth, and rounding out the top five was Jessie Ware's Devotion.
