Sam Fox's Trial Success
Sam Fox and Gino D'Acampo won nine stars in the first 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!' Bushtucker Trial.
The pair - who swam into camp after completing their Trial on a nearby desert island the night before the show officially started - braved a series of challenges to net meals and beds for their fellow contestants, failing just one task.
After both successfully rummaged in boxes of critters and spent 30 seconds with spiders in their mouths, Sam struggled when she was sent to forage in a "ship wreck" to find two stars, and ended the Trial empty handed.
Not letting her disappointment affect him, Gino faced his fear of spiders for the final challenge, spending 90 seconds wearing a helmet that was slowly filled with the creepy crawlies to net the final three stars.
On their arrival into camp, they were hailed as "king and queen" for their efforts by professional dancer Camilla Dallerup.
The celebrities happily set up their camp for the night, with the male contestants quick to give up their beds for the women.
Kim Woodburn seemed particularly delighted with the sleeping arrangements, which saw her bedding down in a caravan with George Hamilton.
She gushed: "What a handsome man, he's so lovely for a Hollywood star"
However, the star was less happy when hosts Ant and Dec revealed she had been voted to compete in Bushtucker Trial Dreaded Descent.
Kim's challenge will be broadcast on ITV1 tonight (16.11.09).

RIP Ray Manzarek
