Ryder's Surprise Wedding

The British singer invited close family and friends to mark the baptism of his 10-month-old daughter Lulu with girlfriend of six years, Joanne, at a church in Swinton, north England.

But Ryder then shocked guests by announcing the surprise wedding - and the partygoers were moved to a venue nearby where the pair exchanged vows.

The couple, who also have a two-year-old daughter, Pearl, had hinted at the impending nuptials by telling loved ones there would be a "big surprise" at the christening.

Ryder's manager, Warren Askew, confirmed the news, saying, "Congratulations to Shaun and Joanne on their wedding. It was a surprise to everyone after the baptism of Lulu, but was a really lovely day."
