Ryan Seacrest - Ryan Seacrest Buys Ellen Degeneres' Home For $49 Million!

Ryan Seacrest has snapped up Ellen Degeneres' huge Beverly Hills estate and paid close to the asking price of $49 million, according to TMZ.com. The television star, said to be worth around $125 million, currently rakes in around $45 million a year, so should have no problem paying off the lavish property.

So what does Seacrest get for his money? Well, the estate includes a 9,200 square foot main house, with three guest houses. It measures 2.87 acres in total, which for Beverly Hills, is huge. Sources say Ryan is paying within a couple of million dollars of the asking price, with the deal likely to be closed this week, though it's not clear when Seacrest and his girlfriend Julianne Hough intend to move into the property. The real estate broker Kurt Rappaport represented both Ryan and Ellen in the deal, which should lead to a healthy commission. The huge house was formerly owned by Max Mutchnick, the co-creator of 'Will and Grace', though Ellen snapped it up for $29 million before purchasing the adjacent properties soon after.

Earlier this year, Seacrest put his gated Hollywood Hills property on the market for $11.9 million - though he had previously listed it in 2010 for near $15 million.
