Ryan Gosling - Ryan Gosling And Michael Fassbender Thrill Fans At Children's Charity Event

Actors Ryan Gosling, Michael Fassbender and Rooney Mara thrilled film fans in Texas over the weekend (27-28Oct12) by showing up at a children's charity event to raise money for deaf students.

The trio is currently filming a Terrence Malick movie in the state and on Saturday (27Oct12) the actors took time out to stop by the Spooky Skedaddle 5K and Festival, which benefits the Texas School for the Deaf in Austin.

The cast greeted and posed for pictures with the kids, and event director Anne Adams insists the group's surprise appearance was a big hit.

She tells Celebuzz.com, "Ryan was there filming with a crew. We actually didn't know he'd be there. The crew had told us they may come by to take photos of the event to work into the film. But we weren't expecting Ryan. It was a nice surprise."
