Russell Simmons - Russell Simmons Lands Major Business Award

The Def Jam Recordings co-founder will be feted at the prizegiving, aka the Stevie Awards, on 20 June (11) at the Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York City.

The award will be presented to Simmons for his "groundbreaking vision and influence on music, fashion, finance, television and film, as well as the face of modern philanthropy."

Stevie Awards president Michael Gallagher says, "Russell Simmons is the personification of the American business spirit.
