Russell Crowe - Russell Crowe Denies Getting Lost After Kayak Mishap

Russell Crowe has insisted he was never actually lost, after being rescued by a coast guard following an ill-fated kayaking trip with a few buddies, reports The Mirror.
Crowe, 48, was enjoying an adventure when he and his friends ended up 10 miles off Huntington Bay. The coastguard tried to hide the star's blushes; "He just needed a little bit of help, he just got a little lost," he said. "It wasn't really a rescue, really, more of just giving someone a lift." Crowe took to Twitter to try and quash the rumours that he, the star of Master and Commander, got lost. "Not lost, we knew where exactly where we were, paddling around from csh into wind, we ran out of day. Grand adventure eh chris_feather ?" he posted soon after news reports came out. He'd previously tweeted his gratitude by saying "thanks to Seth and the boys from the US Coast Guard for guiding the way...4 hrs 30 mins, 7m(11.2km),"
Don't let leisure adventures on small boats fool you; Crowe is a busy man. Fresh from the filming of Broken City, The Man With The Iron Fists, Les Miserables and Man Of Steel, the Australian is set to begin work on Noah and Winter's Tale. Noah, the religious tale of a man struggling against biblical storms and flooding, sees Crowe take the title role of the film. It will also star Antony Hopkins and Emma Watson and is set for a 2014 release.
