Rupert Sanders, Kristen Stewart: Who Is The British Director?

As the news breaks of Kristen Stewart's alleged fling with Rupert Sanders, fans of one of Hollywood's hottest couples (that's Kristen and Robert Pattinson, for the uninitiated) are starting to ask questions. They are asking 'Why, Kristen, why! Why?' They are also asking 'When did this happen?' and, of course, they will be asking 'Who the hell is Rupert Sanders?'

To answer that question, cast your mind back just a little way to the period in Kristen's life when she was filming Snow White and the Huntsman. Rupert Sanders was the director of that movie and has been announced as the director of its sequel, although a release date hasn't been confirmed for that one. Somehow we can't imagine R-Patz being terribly happy about Kristen working together with Rupert, if the rumors turn out to be true. E! Online revealed the news of the alleged affair and have also cast their minds back to a red carpet interview with Sanders when Snow White and the Huntsman was released.

Rupert certainly seemed enthused about working with the young actress, gushing that Kristen has "a great spirit, she's really quite rebellious...and feisty and kind of wild. didn't want her to be timid and I didn't want her to be frightened and relying on men, you know. She's very strong and very driven, and I think that's true in her personal life." All eyes will be on Robert and Kristen now, to see of they can repair their relationship.
